Giant Teddy Bears Shaggy Cuddles and Brownie Cuddles Are TV Stars
Mythbusters Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage channeled their inner kids in their January 2014 TV show special, “Dangerous Toys,” which included 5ft Giant Teddy bears Shaggy Cuddles and Brownie Cuddles as part of the fun and mayhem. The show, despite the title, wasn’t a review of toys. Instead, the guys wondered what would happen if they played kid-inspired but twisted it to suit their very dangerous and adult tastes. So they had a kid think tank brainstorm ideas with them about playing. How would you build a great fort and how would you knock it down?

Then they took the ideas and put a whole lot of danger into them, creating a show that let lots of adults see what playing could really be like as a grown-up. This is no mild-mannered “Wheels on the Bus” kiddie adventure; it’s got lots of things in keeping with the explosive style of Mythbusters.
And some of the stars of the show are 60in Giant Teddy Bears Shaggy Cuddles and Brownie Cuddles. They are part of Jamie Hyneman’s teddy bear army, and had lots of fun until they bravely gave it all in his quest to conquer Adam Savage’s fort.
The show was great, and lots of fun on an adult level, but for those who truly love teddy bears it was hard to see them in what was essentially the violence of war - and many bear fans wished that Shaggy and Brownie might have instead rolled up and brought a peace treaty to negotiate terms for the take over Adam's fort! But that's not the style of the Mythbusters nor what their fans would want and expect, so Shaggy Cuddles and Brownie Cuddles were good sports and did their jobs to the explosive end.
Shaggy Cuddles, famous in late summer of 2013 for being instrumental in the social media romance of Jennette McCurdy and Andre Drummond, is no stranger to the spotlight. He’s an adorable amber brown teddy bear and has a soft side for romance and a tough side for playing rough with the likes of the Mythbusters duo.

Brownie Cuddles is a sweet bear known in teddy bear circles for his love of sweets and is often found in the Giant Teddy kitchen baking brownies. He plans to publish some of his recipes – decadent, low carb, quick and fast, and many other versions. Look for those here on the Giant Teddy blog and on Pinterest!
